The new Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid range has arrived in the Indian market. The range, which comprises two variants (Drum and Disc) will compete in the 125cc scooter segment and rival the likes of Suzuki Burgman Street, TVS Ntorq 125, and the Honda Grazia 126 in the Indian market.

The new Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid uses a BS6-compliant 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel injected (Fi) engine that produces 8bhp of maximum power at 6,500rpm and 10.3Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm.

In terms of styling, the scooter features an apron-mounted headlight, a tinted visor, a sharp design, and a single-piece pillion grab rail. The standard features on both the variants of the new RayZR 125 Fi include the Smart Motor Generator (SMG) System, Quiet Engine Start System, Automatic Stop and Start System, Unified Brake System (UBS), and a Side Stand Engine Cut off function.

The disc brake version further benefits from equipment such as an LED headlight, a digital instrument cluster, and a Bluetooth module. The connectivity function, which works with the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X, offers access to functions such as answer back, locate my vehicle, riding history, parking record, and hazard. The scooter tips the weighing scale at 99kg (kerb).
